Great news: UK citizens enter Qatar visa-free on arrival — a free 30-day stamp at immigration. Passport valid 6+ months, onward ticket, and you're through in minutes. No vaccinations required.

Best Time to Visit

November to March is the golden window — warm days, cool evenings, and every rooftop and Corniche terrace open. Avoid June–September's intense summer heat.

Money & Payments

Qatari Riyal (QAR, pegged to the dollar). The most card-friendly destination in our network — Apple Pay, cards and cash all work everywhere, from souqs to malls.
